We inspect 100% of our servers and thoroughly test components, hence every third used part gets a new life. By reusing components, we extend the life of our servers from 4.5 to 9 years on average. In this way, we reduce the CO2 emissions associated with manufacturing.
What’s more, 24 of our 43 data centers are revitalized buildings. All of our data centers are liquid-cooled, so we use on average only 38% of energy for cooling, compared to traditional methods used in competing data centers.
